Shivam Dubey shines in DY Patil A's win

Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dubey was the star performer at the DY Patil stadium on the final day of the league matches in the 13th DY Patil T20 Cup, as playing for DY Patil A, he stole the show with an all-round effort against a Cheteshwar Pujara-led Indian Oil.
Dubey struck a 38-ball 66 with four boundaries and four sixes to support opener Prashant Chopra's 73 (51b, 7x4s, 2x6s) in a 131-run third wicket stand to help DY Patil A post 180 for 4 in their 20 overs.
Thereafter, Dubey snapped up two wickets to restrict Indian Oil to 151 for six in their 20 overs and help DY Patil A register a 29-run win.
In the other games of the day, CAG registered a comfortable 28-run win over Mumbai Police at the University Ground.
At the DY Pati Stadium, ONGC went down by seven wickets to State Bank of Travancore, while Air India beat Mumbai Customs by five wickets at the University Ground.
DY Patil A will take on Tata Sports Club at the DY Patil Stadium in the first quareterfinal, while at the same time Reliance 1 will square off against Indian Oil at the adjoining University Ground.
Later in the evening under lights, DY Patil B will play State Bank of Travancore at the DY Patil Stadium, while CAG and BPCL clash against each other at the University Ground in the final last eight round game.

At University Ground: Group C: CAG 200-4 in 20 overs (Himanshu Chawla 57, Bravesh Shetty 56) bt Mumbai Police 172-7 in 20 overs (Harsh Tank 56, Jiniv Joshi 33; Rituraj Singh 3-14)-by 28 runs.
At DY Patil Stadium: Group C: ONGC 124-9 in 20 overs (Mohd Saif Jr 45; Abhishek Mohan 3-20, Sandeep Warrier 2-17, Vinoop Manohar 2-18) lost to State Bank of Travancore 125-3 in 17.3 overs (Raiphi Gomez 43, Amit Verma 37 n.O.; Pankaj Jaiswal 2-19)-by seven wickets.
At University Ground: Group D: Mumbai Customs 160-9 in 20 overs (Parag Khanapurkar 58, Swapnil Pradhan 35 n.O., Adeeb Usmani 31; Vaibhav Mali 5-30) lost to Air India 165-5 in 17.2 overs (Paul Valthaty 63, Aditya Kaushik 38; Parag Khanapurkar 2-27) by five wickets.
At DY Patil Stadium: Group D: DY Patil 'A' 180-4 in 20 overs (Prashant Chopra 73, Shivam Dubey 66; Rohan Raje 3-25) bt Indian Oil 151-6 in 20 overs (Smit Patel 50, Pinal Shah 35; Shivam Dubey 2-14)-by 29 runs.
