After a massive dust storm last evening, intermittent showers continued and the city received moderate rainfall of 25.7 mm . Light rains area expected to continue for the next couple of days.
Palam station recorded 37.0 mm rainfall, Lodhi Road, 24.8 mm and Aya Nagar, 51.7 mm rain since yesterday morning, said a MeT official.
The rain brought down the minimum temperature to 20.5 degrees Celsius, seven degrees below normal for this time of the season, he said.
Humidity level also rose due to rain and it was recorded at 100 per cent at 8.30 AM in the morning.
Overall, the day will be a pleasant one with partly cloudy sky and rain or thundershowers expected in some parts of the city, the weatherman said.
