Shooters Shreyasi Singh, Ankur Mittal, Shahzar Rizvi and Pooja Ghatkar have been recommended for the Arjuna award by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
Two days ago, Rizvi won a silver medal in 10m air pistol at the ISSF World Cup in Changwon, Korea.
Rizvi had clinched the gold medal in his maiden World Cup appearance in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Others include double trap shooter Shreyasi, who won a historic gold and a silver in the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, 10m air rifle specialist Ghatkar and men's double trap shooter Mittal, a gold and silver medallist in ISSF World Cups last year and a bronze winner at the Commonwealth Games.
