Shriram City Union Finance on Thursday reported a 34.2% rise in net profit to Rs 204.4 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.

The company's net profit stood at Rs 152.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

Total income of the company increased to Rs 945.9 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 1,115.5 crore in the same period a year earlier, Shriram City Union Finance said in a statement.

NPA is continued to be recognized NPA on 150 days past due basis and GNPA is at 4.96% as compared to 5.11% in previous quarter.

Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 18% to aggregate Rs 21,390 crore.

Subsidiary Shriram Housing Finance Ltd logged a growth of 75% in Assets Under Management at Rs 1,753 crore and reported net profit of Rs 10.1 crore.
