Instead of resorting to "false bravado and empty boasts" to wriggle himself out of a "tight spot" Congress leader Amarinder Singh should announce a date and time for his proposed rally, Badal said in a statement here.
Earlier on Monday at a rally in Bathinda, Badal had challenged the Congress leader saying, "If Amarinder has courage then he should bring crowd at such scale at Bathinda."
Reacting to Amarinder's remark that SAD had "imported" people from Haryana and Rajasthan at their 'Sadbhavna Rally' on Monday, Akali Dal president said the Congress leader should not "humiliate" the people of Punjab.
"You are free to take political pot-shots at the SAD but don't try to strike at the dignity of Punjabis by claiming they can be forced to attend a public rally against their will", he said.
He said the fact that independent observers had put 'Sadbhavna Rally' strength at over two lakh was gnawing at Amarinder and has "frustrated" him.
Agreeing with Amarinder that "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones", Badal said in case of the Congress leader it required "only one stone" from the Federal Tax Administration (FTA) of Switzerland, referring to the Congress leader's purported Swiss bank accounts.
"Your Swiss bank details will soon be shared with the Indian authorities and the entire country will witness as to who is living in a glass house," the SAD president said adding the Congress leader has lost chance for making a comeback in the state.
