The company, a spin-off of Swisscom, moved its global development centre to Kolkata to tap on growth opportunity and plans to almost triple the workforce in 12-18 months to support business expansion.
"India contributes around 3-4 per cent. With around 60 mobile virtual network operators coming in, we expect India to contribute 10-15 per cent in our global business," Sicap Group CEO Markus Doetsch told PTI.
The company provides SIM management solution that connects mobile SIM with network and manages service on it. At present, the Sicap is providing its service to Reliance Jio. It also provides Internet of Things platform, stolen mobile tracking and security solutions.
Besides, the company plans to increase its operations and marketing team that will cater to businesses in India and South Asia.
