There has been a significant progress in the relation between India and China this year and both the countries should work together to make the world a better place, Chinese Ambassador to India Luo Zhaohui said here Friday.
He was speaking at a programme in the Chinese Embassy here to mark the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
"This year we have seen significant progress in China-India relations. The Wuhan Summit this year, opened a new chapter in our relations. Both sides have been working very hard to translate Wuhan Consensus into action," Luo said.
He said, "Both the countries should work together to make the world a better place. It is important to implement the consensus of leaders and transmit their personal friendship down to the people."
