Traders cut down their bets at prevailing levels amid a weak global trend
Press Trust of India New Delhi Silver prices were down by Rs 138 to Rs 37,626 per kg in futures trade today as traders cut down their bets at prevailing levels amid a weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in May fell by Rs 138 or 0.37% to Rs 37,626 per kg in a business turnover of 250 lots.

Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month July contracts was trading lower by Rs 140, or 0.37%, to Rs 38,080 per kg in 38 lots.
Market analysts attributed the weakness in silver futures to a bearish global cues.
Globally, silver traded 0.66% lower at $15.80 an ounce in Singapore today.
