Simon Cowell to name son Simon

'The X Factor' judge Simon Cowell has announced that he either wants to call his son after himself or after his late father.
The music mogul revealed he wants to name his first child with socialite Lauren Silverman after his favourite person in the world - himself, reported Contactmusic.
"My number one choice is Simon because I like the name," he said.
However, the 54-year-old star also admitting his second choice was Eric in honour of his late father, who would have been very proud to have a grandson.
"His birthday is going to be very close to my dad's birthday," Cowell said.

The 'X Factor' boss is hopeful his son will follow in his footsteps by taking over multi-million dollar music empire, allowing him to finally retire.
"I want to teach him how to do my job as quickly as possible. I want to pass the reins over. I really would like the idea of teaching him how to run the business.
