Actor Simon Pegg prefers the "Star Trek" franchise over "Star Wars" because he has been involved in the script for "Star Trek Beyond".
The 45-year-old actor, who plays the role of junk dealer Unkar Plutt in the forthcoming film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", likes "Star Trek" more because he's contributed to the script for the third film in the rebooted series 'Star Trek Beyond".
Pegg, who played Enterprise engineer Scotty in the previous two films, said, "I am bi-starrial. It's a choice I don't want to make... But it has to be 'Star Trek' now because I've written part of it but 'Star Wars' was a huge film for me growing up.
