Singapore minister meets Naidu and Chandrasekhar Rao

Singapore Foreign Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here.
In his meeting with Naidu, he discussed possibilities for cooperation in oil and gas resources in East Godavari district off KG basin, an official release said.
Cooperation in education sector and making AP corruption-free was also discussed, it said.
The Singapore Minister and Chandrasekhar Rao exchanged views on the policies of Singapore and Telangana governments, a release from the Chief Minister's office said.
Rao has sought the cooperation of Singapore in the "reconstruction of Telangana", the release said.

Shanmugam met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HRD Minister Smriti Irani in Delhi yesterday.

The Prime Minister has sought the help of Singapore's expertise in implementing his government's agenda of providing low-cost housing to all.
The HRD Minister offered Singapore to be the 'guest of honour country' during next year's New Delhi World Book Fair to be held between February 14- 22, 2015.
The offer was made to Shanmugam when he called on her in Delhi yesterday.
