Briefing newspersons here, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said said the Master Plan being prepared by Singapore is likely to be ready by June.
The new capital of the state is proposed to be built near Vijayawada, on the southern side of river Krishna.
Singapore, which is known worldwide for its urban planning, is preparing the plan for the 'core capital' area, Naidu said.
He said land is being acquired for the new capital under land pooling system and "It is a win-win situation for farmers and government."
Naidu, who wound up his two-day visit here, held a series of meetings with 10 Ministers in the national capital and called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.
Singapore government arm IES, with which the AP government signed a memorandum of understanding for preparing the Master Plan for the state's new capital region, would complete its Stage-1 visioning exercise by mid-February and a detailed action plan as well as zoning by April end in Stage-2.
