Six candidates file nominations for IInd phase LS pollS in Raj

Six candidates, including one of Congress party, today filed their nominations for the IInd phase of Lok Sabha polls to be held on April 24 in five parliamentary constituencies of Rajasthan, an EC official said.
Congress' Lakhiram filed papers from Karauli-Dholpur Lok Sabha seat, while BSP's Chandu filed his nomination from Dausa seat.
In view of Jhulelal Jayanti there will be holiday tomorrow, and filing of nominations would not be held, he said.
Similarly, due to Ramnavmi on April 8, the process of withdrawal of nominations would not be done, he said adding the last date of withdrawal will be April 9.
Five highly sensitive Lok Sabha seats of Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, and Tonk-Sawaimadhopur will go to polls on April 24.
The last date of filing nomination papers is April 5 while scrutiny of papers will be held on April 7, he said.
