Six dead after Uttarakhand roadways bus hits car in UP's Pilibhit

Six people were killed and two others injured on Friday after their car was hit by an Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus on Pilibhit-Bareilly road here, police said.

The accident took place near Lalauri Kheda police chowki in Pilibhit city, an official of Jahanabad police station said.

The two injured have been hospitalised and stated to be critical, police said.

The matter is being investigated and efforts are on to identify the six deceased, they added.
