Two women were killed in Nuapada district while they were working in agricultural fields, an equal number of persons were killed in Puri district's Pipili and Delang areas, official sources said.
One person each died in Bhadrak and Keonjhar districts, they said.
The injuries took place in Sundergarh, Kendrapara, Kenojhar, Bhadrak and Puri districts, the sources added.
