A woman, who is reportedly said to be associated with flesh trade, was also arrested from the house during a raid carried out yesterday following a complaint by the victim, police said.
The victim, presently employed at a hotel in Lucknow, was brought here nearly a fortnight ago by her colleague Atul Trivedi on the pretext of a new job with better salary.
Trivedi, a resident of Kanpur, however, took her to a house of his friend identified as Sanu, where his other friends -- Mohammed, Muntjir, Deepak Chaudhary and Javed -- joined them. All the six later gangraped the victim and threatened her life.
The victim, who belongs to Bardhaman district of West Bengal, managed to run away from the house yesterday and reached the police station following which the police took the action.
The woman, who was arrested along with other accused for allegedly helping the youths in holding the victim as hostage, also belongs to West Bengal but was presently living in Dehra Dun.
The accused were later produced before a court which sent them to 14-days judicial remand.
