Six IAS, 24 BAS officials transferred

Effecting a reshuffle, the state government today transferred 30 officials, including six IAS officers, according to an official notification.
Devendra Kumar Verma (1999 batch IAS officer) has been transferred from his present posting as the Director, Land Acquisition and made the Joint Secretary, Revenue Board, the notification said.
Animesh Kumar Parashar (2010 batch IAS officer), the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Bagaha Sub-Division in West Champaran district has been shifted to Bhojpur as the Deputy Development Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Bhojpur.
Another IAS officer Kaushal Kishore has been transferred from his present posting in East Champaran district as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Chakia and made the Deputy Development Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Begusarai, while the Kishanganj SDO Kanwal Tarun, has been made the Deputy Development Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Muzaffarpur.
Chandrashekhar Singh, another IAS officer, has been removed as the SDO, Hajipur in Vaishali district and made the Deputy Development Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Bhagalpur, while Raj Kumar, SDO Purnia, has been transferred as the Development Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad in Madhubani, the notification said.
In addition, 24 officials of the Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) too have been transferred in the latest round of reshuffle by the state government.
