Around six students were injured when members of the Trinamool Congress Chatra Parishad (TMCP) and Akhil Bharatiya Students Union (ABVP) clashed at Dinabandhu Andrew College in the city.
The members of the TMCP and the ABVP clashed yesterday when they went to collect the nomination forms of the Students' Union election, a college official said today.
The College which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Police did not lodged any police complaint as the students suffered only minor injuries and none of them complained to the college authorities, the official said.
The nomination papers for the Students' Union election in the College were issued on Wednesday and Thursday.
The last date for filling of nomination papers is Friday and Saturday.
