Ajit Giri, a para teacher of the Birihari high school, was kidnapped by Maoists at the time of their heightened activity in the area on July 2, 2010, on the belief that he was supporter of the then ruling party, the CPI (M).
The teacher's family had lodged an FIR but he has been missing since then.
Subsequently one of the Maoists who was involved in the kidnapping, was arrested couple of years after the incident and following his continuous interrogation, a police team dug out the skeleton from a jungle area at Aguiboni.
DNA test will be done as per the official procedure, said police.
