Slight respite from heatwave in Raj

Most places in Rajasthan witnessed a slight respite from simmering heat as maximum temperatures dipped a few notches in the state.
Churu was hottest at 40.6 degrees Celsius followed by Kota 39.9 degrees Celsius, Jaipur and Bikaner 39 degrees Celsius each, Jodhpur 38.8 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 38 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 37.2 degrees Celsius and Dabok 36.5 degrees Celsius.
The MeT department has predicted a dry weather in the state in the next 24 hours.
