Slight rise in maximum temperatures in Rajasthan

A slight rise of 1 to 2 degree Celsius in maximum temperature was recorded at most places in Rajasthan amid rainfall recorded at a few places in last 24 hours.
Sriganganagar, Alwar, Churu, Hanumangarh each recorded 3 cm rainfall followed by 2 cm rainfall in Sikar, Alwar and Hanumangarh.
Kota was the hottest with 41.9 degree Celsius followed by 41.2 in Barmer, 40.6 in Jaisalmer, 40.5 Bikaner, 40 in Churu, 39.5 in Jodhpur, 39.2 in Jaipur, 37.8 in Ganganagar, 37.6 in Ajmer, 37.1 in Pilani and 36.6 in Dabok, respectively.
From 8.30 am to till 5.30 pm today, 0.4 mm rainfall was recorded in Pilani.
MeT department has predicted dust storm or thunderstorm with rain very likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
With little change in weather outlook, the department has warned of thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
