Small sugar weakens in lackluster trade

Small sugar prices weakened further in an otherwise lackluster Vashi wholesale market here today owing to reduced demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
While, medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Small sugar (S-30) prices fell by Rs 15 per quintal to Rs 3,592/3746 from Thursday's close Rs 3,592/3,761.
Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,706/3,852 per quintal.
