'Smart Strider' wins Godhavari plate

'Smart Strider', ridden by jockey G Ross and trained by R Foley, won the Godhavari plate, the chief event of the races held here today.
The winner is owned by P L Ravi.
Trainer Foley saddled six winners while jockey G Ross rode three winners.
Five favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
