Smriti favourite for 11th leg

Fresh from her stunning win in Srinagar last week, veteran Delhi golfer Smriti Mehra will feature in the 11th leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour 2013, starting here from tomorrow, as the favourite.
The INR 5,00,000 event will be played at the Delhi Golf Club from the September 24-26. The 11th leg will also see the return of Bengaluru Golfer Sharmila Nicollet to the ongoing Women's Professional Golf Tour 2013.
Smriti, who managed a stunning win in a three-way playoff last week in Srinagar, will look forward to capture the top spot in the Order of Merit 2013 as she is currently placed second with total earnings of INR 8,15,000 from four wins in 10 appearances. She currently trails the leader Neha Tripathi of Kolkata by INR 35,900.

Nicollet, who is the youngest Indian to qualify for the Ladies European Tour, will return to the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour 2013 after participating in the recently-concluded LET event in Sweden.
The other players to watch out for in the 11th leg are Delhi golfer Vani Kapoor and Rookie Shweta Galande who has impressed many with her consistent finishes.
The event comprises a total of fourteen legs spanning across key locations in India.
