Snehlata Srivastava appointed Addl Secy, Finance Ministry

Srivastava, a 1982 batch officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, will be posted in Department of Financial Services, an official release said.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Hem Kumar Pande, IAS (WB:82), currently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests, as Additional Secretary in the Green Ministry.

Balvender Kumar, IAS (UP:81), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, has been appointed as Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Textiles Ministry in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, it said.

The Committee has also approved appointment of Rajiv Sharma, IAS (AP:82), Mission Director, National Mission Clean Ganga, MoEF as Additional Secretary, Home Ministry.

It has also appointed Avinash K Srivastava, IAS (UP:82), Additional Secretary, Corporate Affairs Ministry, as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Agriculture Ministry.

Dinesh Singh, IAS (UP:82), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
