The Meteorological Department has forecast snowfall and rain in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Friday and Saturday.
Thundershowers have been predicted for the lower hill and plain areas, said the Meteorological Centre in Shimla.
The maximum temperature in the state increased by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. The highest temperature was recorded at Una at 30.8 degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature was recorded in the tribal district of Lahaul-Spiti's administrative centre Keylong at 1.2 degrees Celsius, it added.
