Dramatic events that happened during the inter-session period like arrest and remand of Chandy's close personal aide Tenny Joppan and TV actress Shalu Menon as well as surfacing of phone call details of prime accused Saritha Nair with some of the ministers will be providing ammunition to the LDF to take on the treasury benches.
According to the LDF sources, the Front would not budge from its demand for Chandy's resignation and a judicial probe covering the entire gamut of the scandal.
The way-out options being considered by the UDF includes referring the case to CBI, Front sources said.
The scam also has its reflection on the internal equations in Congress in the state as the telephone call details gathered by investigators showed that several ministers and political leaders had made calls to Saritha, apart from getting frequent calls from her.
