 "Somany Ceramics Q2 net doubles to Rs 23 cr")
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10.65 crore in the same period last fiscal, Somany Ceramics said in a BSE filing.
Income from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 464.6 crore as against Rs 419.48 crore in the year-ago period, up 10.75 per cent.

Total expenses during quarter were higher at Rs 432.56 crore compared with Rs 398.67 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company added.
The stock of Somany Ceramics was trading 2.34 per cent higher at Rs 660 in the afternoon trade on BSE.
