Somany Ceramics Q1 net up 30% to Rs 10.49 crore

Tile maker Somany Ceramics today reported a jump of 29.98 per cent in its standalone net profit at Rs 10.49 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
It had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 8.07 crore in the same period last year, Somany Ceramics said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income on a standalone basis increased 18.61 per cent to Rs 393.55 crore during the April-June quarter as against Rs 331.80 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of Somany Ceramics were trading at Rs 392.00 per scrip on BSE at 1406hrs, up 2.02 per cent from its previous close.
