Somnath Chatterjee a distinguished Parliamentarian: Pondy CM
Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today condoled the death of former Speaker of Lok Sabha Somnath Chatterjee.
In a condolence message to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister said Somnath Chatterjee was a distinguished parliamentarian who accorded priority to the welfare of the people, particularly the depressed sections.
His death is a big loss to the country, Narayanasamy said.
