Jaggi apprised the Chief Minister that survey work of double tracking between Lumding-Dibrugarh section had already been undertaken and the project would be carried out on fast-track basis.
Jaggi also informed Sonowal that several plans were on the anvil to decongest Guwahati Railway Station by upgrading railway infrastructure across the peripheral areas of the city, the release said.
