Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today called upon the youth to work together to unite the society and take responsibility in popularising 'Digital India'.
"We need to work hard and utilise the immense inherent potential and possibilities to make the nation prosper on all fronts and establish it as a capital of human resources in the world map," the Chief Minister said while interacting with youths at the National Integration Camp here.
Sonowal asked the youths to take responsibility in popularising 'Digital India', 'Make in India', 'Skill India', 'Start up India' so that people at large can reap rich dividends from these programmes.
The Chief Minister also asked the participating youths to adopt e-banking, paytm among others as the transaction modes and popularise them for the promotion of 'plastic currency', in view of demonetisation of high currency notes.
Emphasising that a 'swachh mind' manifests into a 'swacch environment', he also asked the participating youths, to contribute to make 'Swachh Bharat Campaign' a success.
The five-day National Integration Camp--'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' witnessed participation of 15 states which has been organised by 'Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan' and sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
