Actor JD Pardo has been tapped to star in "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off, "Mayans MC".
The actor has joined Edward James Olmos, who will play the father of Pardo's character, and Clayton Cardenas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Mayans MC" is set after the events of "Sons of Anarchy" and centers on EZ Reyes (Pardo), a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border who struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel as well as his need for respect from the women he loves.
"Mayans MC" is co-created by Kutt Sutter and Elgin James. Sutter is also set to executive produce and direct the pilot.
