Landgraf assured reporters at the TCA press tour that the network is still very much committed to the show, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"I'm very confident of the future of the spin-off," Landgraf said.
"The fact that almost the entire cast of the show is Latino is awesome. There are familiar faces and a lot of new actors we found."
A final decision on the future of "Mayans MC" is expected to be made within the next three months, according to Landgraf.
