Patna Meteorological Centre has forecast more rainfall in the next 24 hours in the state.
As per a Met bulletin, moderate to heavy rainfall occurred at south eastern parts of the state.
The state capital Patna, which witnessed generally cloudy sky with with a couple of spells of light rains, registered 3 mm rainfall, the Met office said.
Gaya registered 19.0 mm rainfall, while Bhagalpur received 3 mm rains today, it said.
Purnea recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius followed by 33.4 deg C in Patna, 32.8 deg C in Bhagalpur and 31.3 deg C in Gaya, the bulletin said.
