Southern Samity Kolkata defeats Indian Airport New Delhi 1-0

Southern Samiti, Kolkata defeated Indian Airport (New Delhi) by a solitary goal to earn full points in group league match of the All Indian Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur tournament at the Moinul Haque stadium here today.
The Kolkata team kept mounting the pressure on its rival right from the time of kick-off ball. But, due to lack of finishing by the forwards, it failed to open the account and the first half ended goalless 0-0.
Shyam Kumar of Kolkata team dribbled past the rival defender after receiving a mid-field pass from Nigerian star Musa and placed to the ball into the rival net in the 67th minutes to give 1-0 lead to his team.

The New Delhi team regrouped themselves and came with couple of forays but failed to covert them into goal.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of Southern Samiti Kolkata.
