All the districts of the state have been covered by southwest monsoon except some parts of Bargrh, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh, the meteorological centre said.
Favourable conditions are developing for further advancement of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of the three districts - Baragarh, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh - in the next three to four days, it said.
With the surge of monsoon, most parts of Odisha experienced moderate to heavy rains which brought considerable respite from the long spell of heat.
Rains and thundershower would occur at many places in Odisha under its impact.
Besides, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts in southern part of the state during the next 24 hours, it said.
