Marketmen said immense buying by speculators in line with rising price at international markets mainly pushed up prices here in future trading.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange counter, soybean delivery for immediate contract January month jumped up by Rs 42 or 1.39 per cent to Rs 3,072 per quintal, in an open interest of 11,690 lots.
Most active near contract February month delivery also swift by Rs 31 or 1.01 per cent to Rs 3,115 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,51,070 lots.
