SP worker shot dead

allegedly shot dead a Samajwadi Party worker in Sikanderpur area of the district.

Shivanand Chauhan, a local SP leader and former 'gram pradhan', was attacked on Hadser road in Jhorideeh village this afternoon, police said.

Senior police officials and SP leaders have rushed to the spot.
