The party workers gathered near the Collectorate and raised slogans against Singh.
"Amar Singh is responsible for differences among the top brass of the party," said Samajwadi Yuvajan Sabha District chief Sahoon Khan Rawat.
"We will work unitedly for the victory of Samajwadi Party in the forthcoming Assembly elections to ensure repeat of Akhilesh Yadav as Chief Minister," he added.
Akhilesh Yadav has been at odds with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav and uncle Shivpal Yadav recently.
Akhilesh, in turn, accused Amar Singh and those close to him of hatching a "conspiracy" against him and his father.
