AIADMK legislature wing leader A Anbalagan told reporters here said that the Chief Minister was remaining silent on the matter without taking steps to urge the Centre to constitute the Board'.
By not doing so, the Congress government was doing injustice to farmers of Karaikal region who are dependent on Cauvery water, he said, adding that the Chief Minister should realise their pathetic plight.
Anbalagan said AIADMK MLAs would soon present a detailed memorandum to Lt Governor Kiran Bedi to urge her to direct the government to have special session of the House to discuss the Cauvery issue.
