Special drive to check illegal mining in Bundi

Police today launched a 40-day special drive to check illegal mining activities in the district.
The drive will continue till August 31, Superintendent of Police Pankaj Choudhary said, adding that he directed all the SHOs in the district to take prompt action against the illegal mining activities in their respective areas.
The drive has been launched after four persons had died in an explosion at an illegal mining site in Jhakmund village of Talera police station area on June 30.
