The team, comprising police personnel from Assistant Sub Inspector to Constable ranks, was working for information gathering in the district, and was disbanded by IG Ajmer.
All the members were sent to police lines and a new team would be formed, police sources said.
The decision was taken in the wake of the arrest of Meena, who was the district SP, on charges of misusing official powers granted to him.
Meena was caught by anti-corruption bureau sleuths last week with Rs 5.05 lakh allegedly extorted from various SHOs on monthly basis.
SHOs of 12 police stations have also been removed and sent to police lines on Saturday last after it was found that they used to contribute in the monthly collection for Meena and Additional SP Lokesh Sonwal.
Sonwal, who was suspended, is absconding and efforts are on to trace him.
Meanwhile, Meena was taken to Jaipur for hospitalisation following complaint of back pain on Sunday night and a medical board will examine his condition, sources said.
