Many people were waiting for a bus on the road side around 10.15pm, all of a sudden a speeding tractor-trolley came and crushed three of them while others saved their lives by jumping from the spot.
The driver of the tractor has been arrested, police said.
One deceased was identified as Pardeep Singh of Jagraon and the other is yet to be identified, they said.
The injured was admitted in a local hospital where his condition is stated to be serious, police said.
