Sporting Clube de Goa had set their eyes to the top slot of the league table when the I-League resumed last month after a break, but a draw against Pune FC and a loss against Mohammedan Sporting saw them remain at third place, with 28 points from 16 matches.
They are now looking to return to their winning ways tomorrow at Nehru Stadium at Fatorda against an 'in-form' Dempo who have beaten Rangdajied United FC and East Bengal, to move to the sixth place, with 22 points from 17 matches.
Both the teams would look for a win to climb up the ladder. Once again, Dempo will be looking to Tolgay for success.
Roberto Silva, who has been consistent in the midfield, will lead the attack and if Sporting Clube de Goa are able to keep him at bay, then half of their job would be done.
Sporting coach Oscar Bruzon was disappointed at the manner his team lost to Mohammedan Sporting (0-3).
