Spotted deer dies in accident

A spotted deer died in a road
accident here today.
Forest Department officials said that the Vilamundy forest in Bhavanisagar forest area in Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve is noted its for deer population.
Thousands of spotted deer, black buck, sambar and other deer varieties are inhabited there.
The three to four year old female deer died while crossing the Sathyamangalam-Combatore road after a speeding vehicle hit it.
The deer was buried the after autopsy., they said.
