Srirangam MLA to take oath tomorrow

The newly elected AIADMK legislator from Srirangam constituency S Valarmathi will take the oath of office tomorrow, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat said today.
"S Valamathi elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative assembly will take oath or affirmation at 9 am on February 17 before the Speaker in his chamber," AMP Jamaludeen, Secretary, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, said in an official release.
The AIADMK candidate won by a margin of 96,516 votes. She secured 1,51,561 votes out of the total polled votes of 2,21,173.
DMK's N Anand was runner-up with 55,045 votes.
