The blockbuster romantic saga was a landmark in the careers of Shah Rukh, Kajol and Aditya Chopra, who made his debut as a director with DDLJ.
"Late night shoot at YRF, Mumbai. No better way to drive back home, then to a day when it's a 1000 weeks of DDLJ," Shah Rukh posted on Twitter.
Basking in the success of his latest release 'Happy New Year', Shah Rukh is currently shooting his next project 'Fan', a YRF production.
Anupam Kher, who played a friendly father in the film, said the movie made the father-son relationship iconic.
"That attitude made father/son relationship iconic," Kher tweeted.
The film is still playing at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir theatre.
