SSB, Siliguri draw with UKFC

The Pool B league match of the 4th All India Football Tournament for 'Bihar Cup' between Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Siliguri, and United Kuarsiong Football Club (UKFC) today ended in 1-1 draw at Moin-ul-haque Stadium today.
Star striker of the SSB team Bijeshwar Singh opened the account in the 39th minute for his team with a powerful half volley after receiving a pass from Manoba Singh. Bijeshwar had struck hattrick in their inaugural match against BRC, Danapur.
UKFC also got a few chances but their forward line failed to convert it into goals. The first half ended 1-0.
However, SSB lost momentum in the second half and squandered several chances.
UKFC managed to restore parity when Suraj Gurung beat the opponent defence line to find the target in the injury time at 91st minute after getting a pass from Goutam Thapa.
The second league match of the day in pool A between UFC Mahilpur (Punjab) and Tata Football Academy (TFA) also ended 1-1.
Punjab took lead in the 25th minute through right striker Sukhdeo Singh as his long range right footer found the target.
Trailing, TFA combined together and made some good moves, created goal opportunity but frontliner Vishal, Ronald, Rahul and Arjun missed easy chances.
Chinglen Sana scored the equaliser in the 60th minute after receiving a cross from Ronaldo.
