Standard Chartered Bank, India appoints Mohanty as CFO

Standard Chartered Bank, India today said it has appointed Subhradeep Mohanty as its chief financial officer.
Prior to this, Mohanty was CFO of the bank's retail banking segments, the lender said in a statement.
He has held various roles in JP Morgan and American Express prior to joining the bank.

Star India launches Hindi movie channel Star Gold Select HD
Broadcaster Star India today launched its fourth Hindi movie channel Star Gold Select HD.
"Each of our movie channels offers a unique proposition to our consumer. With Indian cinema taking a leap with regards to content, we believe that there is a growing need for movies with great storytelling to have their own destination on television," Star India General Manager Hindi movies cluster Hemal Jhaveri said in a statement.

All the movies aired on the channel will have one break and it will premiere a movie each week at the prime time slot, the company said.
